Toast Hotel Group is Hiring a Parking Attendant Near New Buffalo, MI

Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and customer-oriented Parking Attendant to join our team. As a Parking Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of vehicles in and out of our parking lot and providing exceptional customer service to all patrons. This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy working outdoors and interacting with people.

Responsibilities:
- Direct vehicles to available parking spaces
- Collect parking fees and provide accurate change using a cash register
- Maintain a clean and organized parking lot
- Assist customers with any inquiries or issues they may have
- Provide valet parking services when necessary
- Monitor parking lot activity to ensure compliance with rules and regulations
- Communicate effectively with customers, coworkers, and supervisors
- Drive vehicles as needed for valet parking services

Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Bilingual proficiency is a plus
- Experience in valet parking or a similar role is preferred
- Ability to drive various types of vehicles including manual transmission
- Comfortable handling cash transactions and operating a cash register
- Basic math skills for retail calculations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor

Note: All positions at our company are paid positions, including internships.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
